BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Will Sarah Connor Return In Terminator 5?

When Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) was thanklessly killed off in barely a single passing line in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, it was a crushing blow to us fans of the series. And so it was for Terminator 5 director Justin Lin, who may be planning to bring her back.

''Sarah Connor is such a big part of the franchise, you know,'' Lin said in an interview with Moviehole. ''Yeah, I mean, I've always been surprised how in part 3 [Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines] she was just like ... It was like one line and she was gone.''

This is the rest of the exchange:

Clint: She was dead, yeah, yeah. It was insulting, yeah.

Lin: Yeah, like leukemia and ... But I think the great thing about this franchise is you have ... You can actually have different canons because you have the element of time travel. So, there's a way of kind of respecting all the works but also able to create a new time line.

Clint: That's right. You can go back and right the wrongs.
Lin: Yes.

So does that mean that Justin Lin is seriously thinking about bringing Sarah Connor back from the dead?

Lin: We absolutely hope so.

However, it wouldn't be the first time the character would be resurrected despite her ''death'' in the third film.

Back in 2008, Sarah Connor was the main character for the short-lived Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV series, which sadly ran for only two short seasons on Fox.

If you guys remember, the series was set after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and featured Sarah Connor (played by Game of Thrones' absolutely luminous Lena Headey), who found herself, along with her son, John Connor (Thomas Dekker), and John's new Terminator protector, Cameron (Summer Glau), flung almost 20 years into the future, with the shadow of her impending death from cancer—and the new threat from Skynet and the machines—looming over her head.

Not only that, but it also introduced two awesome new characters: Cameron and Derek Reese (played by 90210's Brian Austin Green, of all people), brother of Kyle Reese, and uncle to John Connor.

The series was a great piece of sci-fi TV, and it introduced an alternate future for our characters, showing that the future can indeed be changed, as Lin said. After all, the Terminator films and the TV series are as much about time travel as they are about cool (and terrifying) robot terminators sent back in time to kill people.

Now, depending on exactly when in the Terminator timeline Justin Lin wants to set the fifth film, Linda Hamilton, the original Sarah Connor, may or may not be too old for the role—though the actress proved she could still kick some ass in NBC's Chuck last season, as our favorite bumbling spy's super-spy mom, Mary Elizabeth Bartowski.

But if Lin plans to go for a younger version of Sarah Connor, then he shouldn't look farther than Lena Headey, who we think was perfect in the part.

But what do you think? Would you be thrilled to have Sarah Connor return in Terminator 5? And do you think director Justin Lin WILL bring her back?

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim
