Apollo 18 poster is revealed. Apollo 18 is an an upcoming 2011 science fiction film directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego in his first English-language film. It is being produced by Timur Bekmambetov and is distributed by The Weinstein Company. The is scheduled to be released theatrically on March 4, 2011

The film is about a supposedly canceled moon mission that really happened in secret, leading to an alien discovery.


Simple but effective, it's one small step for man, and another similar step for something else with three bony toes, plus the ominous tagline "There's a reason we've never gone back to the moon". Apollo 18, of course, was the moon mission that got cancelled in 1970 due to Congressional cuts and safety concerns. Except, according to the film, it wasn't cancelled at all...
