Neill Blomkamp’s ELYSIUM Villain Is Revealed.

El Mayimbe from Latino Review is one hell of a scooper. The man has got sources working everywhere.

Heres the breaking news that he has delivered today.

According to their sources, Wagner Moura, best known to film audiences for playing Colonel Nascimento in the kickass Brazilian films ELITE SQUAD 1 and 2, has booked a villain role in Neill Blomkamp’s ELYSIUM.

Moura will join Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, and Jodie Foster in the sci fi film which shoots this summer.

What is Elysium about?

All I know is that sci fi film is set 100 years in the future and according to Blomkamp “is set on another planet, but it's cool. It's violent, very violent, and very unique hopefully.”
