BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Is Ryan Reynolds Joining The Rosie Project?

First it was developing with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, until they defected to Han Solo. Then Richard Linklater was attached with Jennifer Lawrence set to star, but both dropped out last October. So now it's all change again for The Rosie Project, and this time it's Ryan Reynolds taking an interest.

The Rosie Project is based on the novel by Graeme Simsion (although Simsion actually wrote it as a screenplay before he turned it into a book). It's the story of professor Don Tillman, an on-the-spectrum genetics expert who never seems to be able to land a second date. He starts The Wife Project, working up a questionnaire to find the perfect partner, but is instead entranced by the free-spirited Rosie, who matches none of his criteria but might just be his soul mate.

The book has been a bestseller both here and in Australia where it's set, and a sequel, The Rosie Effect, arrived last year. (500) Days Of Summer writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber wrote the most recent draft of the script, which attracted Lord and Miller before the lure of Star Wars took them in another direction.

Reynolds isn't officially attached at this point, but is reportedly "circling" the project, which is being set up at Sony. He's already ensconced in a big Sony project, heading to Mars with Jake Gyllenhaal in his Safe House director Daniel Espinosa's Life.

While Sony may be keen to keep him in house, however, Reynolds' priority before any Rosie Project-ing will be back at Fox for Deadpool 2. Deadpool is now officially the biggest R-rated movie of all time, so everyone is keen to keep striking while that iron's hot.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
