#PrisonBreak Limited Series Returning To Fox

Variety is reporting after much murmuring, Fox has confirmed that a new “Prison Break” limited series is officially a go.

Dana Walden and Gary Newman, co-chairs and CEOs at Fox Television Group, told journalists the news on Thursday at Fox’s Television Critics Association panel. They also confirmed that original series stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, as well as other original series actors, are also on board for the 10-episode project, which Walden called “a bit of a sequel.”

She added that show creator Paul Scheuring “is writing it now” and it “picks up a few years after” the first series finale ended and “addresses questions that were set up during the series.”

This news might be confusing to devout fans of the show who watched the straight-to-video film finale and therefore have questions about the casting news.

“[Paul has] a very detailed and incredible story for while these characters become relevant again,” said Newman, while Walden added that there is a “logical and believable explanation in the world of ‘Prison Break.'”

The project is targeting to begin production after the first of the year and would be considered for summer or the 2016-17 season. Purcell and Miller are, of course, currently busy in the DC universe and will appear in CW’s fall series “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Walden credited Netflix for helping this project happen.

“‘Prison Break’ has had this great opportunity to be viewed by a whole new audience [on Netflix],” she said, adding that she has been told that it’s “one of the most successful library shows on Netflix.”

“People are still interested in these characters,” she said.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
