BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Sorry Ladies No Front Shot Of Christian Grey In #FiftyShadesOfGrey

Jamie Dornan is preserving his modesty in Fifty Shades of Grey — well, some of it, anyway. In the upcoming film adaptation of E L James’ romance novel, model-turned-actor Dornan plays enigmatic billionaire Christian Grey, the object of millions of readers’ fantasies. In a new interview with The Guardian, Dornan answers the question many of the novel’s fans have been wondering about: Just how far will the film go in depicting the book’s graphic S&M sex scenes? Not as far you might imagine. For one thing, he says, “There were contracts in place that said that viewers wouldn’t be seeing my, um…todger.” So no full-frontal nudity for Dornan then. (Also: todger!) But what about those highly-anticipated sex scenes?

“You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out. You don’t want to make something gratuitous and ugly and graphic,” said the Irish actor. “[Director] Sam [Taylor-Johnson] is a very bright woman, so there might be some suggestive elements to it, but I haven’t seen it at this stage, so it is hard for me to say. I’m aware of what we shot, and it wasn’t as if we shot a film without any action.”

Okay, so there will be action — enough to potentially annoy Dornan’s wife, singer-songwriter Amelia Warner. “She understands that it is work,” Dornan told The Guardian. “I don’t think we will be watching it together too many times at home, though.”

Of course, like most actors, Dornan says that sex scenes with costar Dakota Johnson weren't as fun to make as they probably will be to watch. “Anyone who thinks actors get turned on doing sex scenes in films is mistaken,” he insisted. “There are dozens of hairy men standing around, moving cables and lighting equipment. That’s not sexy unless you’re into being watched, which I’m not.”

Fifty Shades fans will be able to see the fruits of their labors when the film opens on Feb. 13.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
