BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Advance Preview: Dark Horse's Star Wars Rebel Heist

The newest Star Wars release arrives looking great. Read on to learn more.

Story By: Dave Beusing

Matt Kindt has taken on an obscene number of comic book assignments over the past year. Ever since he became the author de jour following the critical success of Mind MGMT (one of the best comics on the stands for 2+ years now), his name has been all over the comic book market.

From DC’s Villains Month (he wrote Solomon Grundy, Deadshot, & Harley Quinn) to Marvel Knights: Spider-Man (really great Spidey mini-series; like Arkham Asylum meets the Webhead) to Valiant Comics Unity (think: their Avengers), Kindt has been working his ass off.

All of this is to say, there’s a moment of hesitation, a tentative fear that his new 4 issue miniseries, Star Wars: Rebel Heist from Dark Horse, will sag under the weight of his impressive workload.

Fortunately, it’s only a moment of hesitation. And then you take a look at that Kindt-painted cover of Han Solo and a blue alien girl Kirk may have left behind (crossing streams!!!). The end result is pure excitement.

If ever there was a time to give a Star Wars comic book a shot, Kindt writing with Star Wars art vet Marco Castiello penciling the action should do the trick.

You’re talking some of the best talents in comics, on top of their game, giving your four issues of new Han Solo stories. Even if you’re not a comics guy at heart, this is a prime series to check out.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
