Filmmaker Abdellatif Kechiche creates a profoundly moving story about a fearless romance told over the course of several years - from the ecstasy of a first kiss to the agony of heartbreak. Revelatory, raw, and uninhibited, the film centers on Adèle, a passionate young women yearning for something she doesn't quite understand until a chance encounter with the blue-haired Emma ignites a flame that brings her to life.
