BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Gina Carano Who Is She Really? Comic-Con Interview

Gina Carano is a relative newbie to Hollywood, but she's already hanging in good company. The actress, who was cast as special operative and former Marine, Mallory Kane, in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming action thriller, Haywire (coming to theaters in January 2012), will share the big screen with many of Tinseltown's most A-list names: Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor and Antonio Banderas to name a few.

But, just who is Carano? Here are five facts you should know about the burgeoning star.

1. She is a Mixed Martial Arts champion. Carano, who is an expert in the sport of Muay Thai (Thailand's combat style), participated in the first-ever MMA fight in Las Vegas in 2006. She beat her opponent Rosi Sexton in the second round.

2. Athleticism is in her blood. Carano, who was born in Dallas County, Texas, is the daughter of Glenn Carano, the Dallas Cowboys' backup quarterback from 1977-1983 and the United States Football League Pittsburg Mauler's starter in 1984, their only year of operation.

3. She goes by another name: Crush. The fighter has appeared on NBC's American Gladiators under the pseudonym. She was also featured in the show's 2008 workout video alongside fellow Gladiators Jet, Titan, Wolf, Phoenix and Toa.

4. Steven Soderbergh cast her in Haywire after seeing her in a match. "I've never seen someone like her fight -- in a cage," the director has said of watching one of her MMA bouts on TV. When they later met in 2009, Carano still had a black eye from a fight she'd just lost, but that didn't deter the director from casting her. "It was the time of my life," she has said of appearing in the film.

5. Co-star Channing Tatum had a hard time hitting her in the film. "They she called me the female P word, and then I had to, for my manity," the actor has said. "I hit her and she hit me back twice as hard. Then I didn't want to hit her anymore."

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
