Stranger Things Season 3 Is Happening

Stranger Things was a pop culture sensation last year, so it was no surprise that it returned for a second season. And, logically, you might think, creators Matt and Ross Duffer have now confirmed that they've already been asked to make a third.

The second season focuses on the fallout from the first, especially how young Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) and his friends are coping a year since discovering that their town is far weirder than they ever imagined, and they're still wondering about the whereabouts of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). And, of course, there will be yet more Stranger danger, with some new characters and a promised larger scope. But according to the brothers, the current plan is not to go much further than that just-announced third season. “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross tells Vulture. “We just have to keep adjusting the story,” adds Matt. “Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.” “They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town!” says Ross. “It’s ridiculous!”
