BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Snatch Is Becoming A TV Show On @Crackle

Variety is reporting Sony’s Crackle has ordered a 10-episode, one-hour drama series based on Guy Ritchie’s 2000 heist movie, “Snatch.”

The free, ad-supported Internet TV network announced the new show at its 2016 upfront presentation in New York — Crackle’s only new original programming announcement, along with renewals of shows including “The Art of More,” “SuperMansion” with Bryan Cranston and Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

Crackle positioned the “Snatch” series as being in the vein of “Fargo,” the TV series on FX based on the movie from Joel and Ethan Coen, carrying the spirit of the setting in the original feature film while “creating a new world.”

The “Snatch” series, inspired by a real-life gold bullion heist in London, will center on a group of twenty-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The hoods must quickly learn to navigate London’s underworld in encounters with rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

Crackle did not announce expected release date for the “Snatch” series or other details.

The 2000 film “Snatch,” from Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Screen Gems, starred Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Farina, Jason Flemyng, Brad Pitt, Vinnie Jones, Jason Statham and Rade Sherbedgia.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
