Sony Pictures’ new film PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES wants fans to join the ranks of the undead with their new ‘Zombify Yourself’ digital feature debuting online.
Fans can easily get Zombified by logging onto http://PPZzombify.com or http://PPZ-movie.com. Once there, users will upload (or take) a photo and facial recognition software will create a gif of themselves transforming into the decaying undead. Once the transformation is complete, the gif can be easily shared across their social networks or by texting it to their fellow undead friends.
In PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, a zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.
PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES is directed by Burr Steers from a screenplay by Burr Steers. It is based on the Quirks Books classic by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith.
Screen Gems will release PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES in the U.S. on February 5, 2016.
