BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#KeiraKnightley To Star In Biopic "Colette"

Before the likes of Madonna and Cher earned fame with just one name, there was French writer Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, who went by the single moniker Colette. Now Still Alice co-director Wash Westmoreland is preparing a biopic of her, and has Keira Knightley close to a deal to star.

Westmoreland wrote the film with his late husband and fellow Alice writer/director Richard Glatzer and will be calling the shots. The biopic will focus on Colette's marriage to celebrated Parisian scribe Willy Gauthier-Villars, who was 14 years older than his wife when they married in 1893 and one of the most notorious libertines in Paris. During their time together, he introduced her to some of the more avant-garde circles and encouraged both her literary prowess and her love for women. After their separation in 1906, her writing career truly took off and she became known for works such as Gigi, Cheri and the Claudine series of books. A mime, an actress and a journalist at various points in her career, she was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1948.

You can see why the filmmakers and now Knightley might be attracted to the story, and it has the backing of Bold Films and HanWay Films, the latter of which worked on Carol.Pam Koffler, Christine Vachon, Elizabeth Karlsen and Empire video blog stalwart Stephen Woolley are all on board to produce, and Westmoreland is scheduled to start shooting this May in Budapest.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
