BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Announces New Cast Member

Luke Mitchell to Join Cast

Story by David Clark

Luke Mitchell will be playing a character of interest on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D when the show returns from break in March.

Season two picked up after Captain America: The Winter Soldier set the Hydra plot line into motion. As the season developed additional storylines have opened up. A plot point relevant to Mitchell’s new character is an area of interest that has strung fans along since season one - Skye (Chloe Bennet). She was introduced as an activist hacker, yet with the progression of the show her origins have become a major mystery. Information from Marvel reveals that Lincoln, the character being played by Luke Mitchell, will be important as Skye’s story unfolds.

“With the revelations surrounding Skye’s true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we’d be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed,” said Executive Producer Jeph Loeb

Loeb introduces Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) as inhuman which is the biggest hint regarding the characters role on the show. This information comes only a few short months after the announcement that Blair Underwood would be joining the cast. Hopefully the influx of new faces will further improve the show which has already shown growth during the much improved second season.

Loeb’s announcement about adding more inhumans as the show develops might win over some people who have critiqued the shows smattering of super powered individuals. To date the show has focused heavily on characters that are far from super human. Given that people correlate Marvel with superheroes, the lack of ‘super’ on the show might be the reason many people have voiced their dislike for the series.

It is not yet known the extent of Skye’s new powers. Will she be a superhero or at the very least super-human? Regardless, Loeb’s announcement would appear to reveal the show trending towards more super-powered storylines. Tune in when the show returns March 3rd to find out what happens next.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
