BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Mario Bello Joins Frank Grillo In House Of Horror

It’s been a few years since Mario Bello did a true horror movie – and yes, we’re including Grown Ups – but it appears she’s ready to dive into some supernatural chills once more. She’s signed on to a new, James Wan-produced thriller alongside The Grey’s Frank Grillo.

The film – which was called House Of Horror, but is currently making its way through pre-production without a final title – will see a psychologist (Bello, we assume, since she’s credited as Dr Elizabeth Klein) and a cop (Grillo) interrogate the lone survivor of a ghost hunting expedition that went horribly wrong.

While the normal result of such trips is a bunch of overly dramatic people getting scared by “ghostly” noises on a tape recorder or flickering dials on a temperature gauge, this one ended with five people dead and a real mystery to solve.

Wan, who is no stranger to horror himself after his work on the Saw franchise, came up with the concept but handed it to Max La Bella to write and Will Canon to direct. It'll start filming shortly in Louisiana.

Bello has shot Paul Haggis’ The Third Person and Grown Ups 2. She’s currently filming Prisoners with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. Grillo popped up in Gangster Squad and in a small Zero Dark Thirty role. He’s recently worked on Homefront and, more excitingly, is playing Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim
