20th Century Fox Announces Cast Of Animated Film " EPIC"

EPIC CASTING.


Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios today announced the voice cast for EPIC, a 3D CG action-adventure comedy that reveals a hidden world unlike any other. From the creators of ICE AGE and RIO, EPIC tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world…and ours.

BEYONCÉ KNOWLES, one of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture and star of the upcoming "A Star Is Born," voices Queen Tara; COLIN FARRELL (“Total Recall”) is Ronin; JOSH HUTCHERSON (“The Hunger Games”) is Nod; AMANDA SEYFRIED (“Dear John”) portrays Mary Katherine; and JOHNNY KNOXVILLE (“Jackass”) voices Mandrake.

AZIZ ANSARI (“Parks and Recreation”) portrays Mub; and rapper PITBULL voices Bufo. JASON SUDEIKIS (“Horrible Bosses” and the upcoming "The Campaign") portrays Bomba; and rock legend and “American Idol” judge STEVEN TYLER is Nim Galuu.

Co-starring are BLAKE ANDERSON (“Workaholics”) as Dagda, and JUDAH FRIEDLANDER (“30 Rock”) as Larry.

EPIC charges into theaters everywhere May 24, 2013. The film is directed by Academy Award®-winner Chris Wedge, and produced by Lori Forte (ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT) and Jerry Davis (ROBOTS).

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
