PUSS IN BOOTS Movie Review

So did Puss In Boots cute little eyes work on Rama when he wrote the review for the film? Make to follow him on Facebook and Twitter.

Not as funny as I’d hoped but the film is a sweet and effective origin story much thanks to the charismatic feline we’ve come to know and endear as PUSS IN BOOTS.

With humor that relies on cat’s typical personalities and breathtaking action and thrills that work well in 3D, PUSS IN BOOTS proves to be an entertaining stand alone film…

Long before he even met Shrek, the notorious fighter, lover and outlaw Puss In Boots becomes a hero when he sets off on an adventure with the tough and street smart Kitty Softpaws and the mastermind Humpty Dumpty to save his town. This is the true story of The Cat, The Myth, The Legend… The Boots.

What do cats usually do? They’d chase a ball or a light, they puke hairballs, well, you have all that and more in PUSS IN BOOTS but think of our hero and his new equal, Kitty Softpaws as the next evolution stage because they do what cats do but they can also walk tall and they could talk and they could swordfight, so seeing them occasionally doing the usual cat stuff, because they can’t help it, is this film’s way to crack you up by way of visual comedy. But I’m surprised that the film often gets real serious, dark, and and dramatic. You have Puss’ origin story that collides with Humpty Dumpty’s origin story and you also have Kitty Softpaws’ origin story and all of them are not happy upbringing and rays of sunshine.

PUSS IN BOOTS is the story behind the legend, how puss became the outlaw he’s known today. Puss’ background and relationship with his friend/nemesis Humpty Dumpty, voiced by Zach Galifianakis, whose dream and intelligence takes them on an adventure much bigger than their own imagination and Puss’ efforts to charm the one female kitty, voiced by Salma Hayek, that can’t be easily subdued by suave moves because she herself is just as skilled, tough and seductive.

I’m just glad that although this is a Shrek spin-off, we don’t seen any of Shrek characters in this film, not even a cameo. So that makes it refreshing and it feels like a Puss movie only.
The attention to details is impressive. Like I’ve said a thousand times before, I’m not an animation expert but pay close attention to Puss’ fur and his boots for example and you’d notice that DreamWorks Animation has taken things up a notch and should make Pixar very worried.
The 3D makes the film look even more exciting, I kid you not. But some of the film’s jokes may contain innuendos that may not be appropriate for younger viewers.

But of course, this adventure would not be what it is if not for the charming lead character, Puss, and with Antonio Banderas’distinct voice, nobody else more perfect for the job, Puss remains as one of cinema’s iconic characters, both a lover and a fighter, a cat version of James Bond meets Zorro.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, I wake up at the crack of dawn and meet 15 women to exercise. This boot camp has been tough but I have enjoyed meeting so many professional women who inspire me to keep going every morning. One of my co-exercisers came to me one morning with a handful of DVDs.I find this website for Best Work Boots Review. If you want you can visit this site.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
