Warner Bros. has delivered the first trailer for Clint Eastwood’s biopic J. Edgar starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Eastwood’s latest film explores the public and private life of J. Edgar Hoover, the legendary FBI chief who was one of the most powerful, controversial and enigmatic figures of the 20th Century. J. Edgar also stars Naomi Watts, Judi Dench and Armie Hammer.

J. EDGAR

J. EDGAR, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ed Westwick, Damon Herriman, Armie Hammer, Ken Howard, Judi Dench and Josh Lucas, directed by Clint Eastwood.

Naomi Watts plays Hoover’s secretary Helen Gandy, a Justice Department file clerk Hoover selected as his personal secretary and wound up working for him for over 54 years…

Josh Lucas plays the iconic Charles Lindbergh
Armie Hammer (The Social Network) plays J. Edgar Hoover’s friend, advisor and secret lover Clyde Tolson
Damon Herriman plays Bruno Hauptman, “a German ex-convict who was charged with the abduction and murder of Charles Augustus Lindbergh Jr., the 20-month-old son of famous pilots Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh”

Hoover was a controversial figure as Wiki puts it… “He exceeded the jurisdiction of the FBI. He used the FBI to harass political dissenters and activists, to amass secret files on political leaders, and to collect evidence using illegal methods” He remained director until his death in 1972
Originally housed at Universal, the studio put the project into turaround. Brian Grazer was producing through his Imagine Entertainment but now with Eastwood directing, HOOVER is set up at Warner Bros, home to almost 35 movies that Eastwood has made. Grazer and Eastwood previously worked on Changeling. Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star as J. Edgar Hoover in the biopic J. EDGAR, to be directed by Clint Eastwood, from a script written by Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black

Lance Black’s script is said to explore the two men’s complicated relationship. they dined, they socialized, they vacationed, but they never admitted they were gay and Hoover being a stubborn vengeful hypocritical bastard that he was, he would hunt down those who dared question his sexual preference. But after he died, Tolson was the beneficiary of Hoover’s life insurance policy and his estate and house as well.

J. EDGAR opens November 9th, 2011

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...
