BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

By Virtue Fall Starring Carla Gugino & Eric Bana

James Spader, Carla Gugino, Ryan Phillippe, Treat Williams and Kim Coates have joined the cast of Sheldon Turner's By Virtue Fall. Eric Bana is already attached to play one of the two leads.

Turner, who most recently co-wrote the Oscar-nominated Up in the Air screenplay, has been working to pull together his directorial debut for months, with several lead actors, including Colin Farrell and Jeremy Renner, in various talks to take the other lead. While Farrell has moved on to Columbia's Total Recall remake, Renner is still a possibility, though his immediate schedule already contains Paramount's Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and Marvel Studios' The Avengers.

The Hurt Locker producer Voltage Pictures was once on board to finance By Virtue Fall, but now QED International (District 9, W.) looks to be handling foreign sales and putting up at least part of the money for production.

Turner's script tells the story of a pair of ATF agents who end up enemies after one frames the other for a crime. The writer-director is producing with Jennifer Klein.

Bana has an opening in his schedule after he finishes shooting the 2929 Entertainment crime thriller Blackbird.

Spader has spent much of the last decade on TV, in The Practice and Boston Legal, though he appeared in the feature Shorts in 2009.

Gugino most recently appeared in Sucker Punch, Faster and Elektra Luxx. She has the Fox comedy Mr. Popper's Penguins coming to theaters in June.

Phillippe most recently appeared in The Lincoln Lawyer, The Bang Bang Club and MacGruber.

Coates recently appeared in Resident Evil: Afterlife, and he's a regular on the FX series Sons of Anarchy.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
