Samuel L. Jackson Confirmed For Captain American And Not Thor

Our friends over at Latino Review sent out super reporter 'El Guapo' is his name (make sure to follow him on Twitter, the guy is pretty witty,)  to cover the press junket  for the upcoming film "Mother and Child" which stars Sam Jackson and you know what was on everyone's mind and my man got down to business to find out.

Here is his interview with Mr. Jackson:

Are you happy with Nick Fury's role in Iron Man 2?

Jackson: I'll tell you at the junket.

Are you disappointed you/re not going to London for that?

Jackson: Actually, I had a plan to go to London, I had two suits I had to pick up so I was looking forward to going there so I could pick up my suits. Go to this West Indian restaurant that I really like. So I'm sorta bummed I won't be there. But I just got out just as the volcano was erupting. Got out before they shut everything down or I wouldn't be here today.

Well I know you've talked about doing like nine films as Nick Fury. Be a gradual order before you get your own Nick Fury film. So how is it getting started on that journey?

Jackson: Well I started on it when I did the end of Iron Man 1. My foot was on the path. Now my foot's a little deeper on the path with Iron Man 2. I'm not in Thor. Supposed to do Captain America this summer in London.

Why do you think you're not in Thor? That's kind of weird.

Jackson: I have no idea. I'm not in charge of making those kinds of decisions. I thought I was, they said I was in the trades and I was like, "Ooh! I got a job!" I called my agent he said, "Naw, you're not in it." I was like, "Well shit, they need to pay me if they're gonna put my name in it. Somethin'."

Did you read The Avengers script before...it looks like they're going to re-write it?

Jackson: No. Have you? You know you have a source online.

Do you have any sort of desire, or campaign to have your own starring vehicle for that character?

Jackson: The Avengers is my own starring vehicle for that character, pretty much.

But that's so far away.

Jackson: It's not that far away, it's February. That too far away for you? You can't wait until next year? I got time to get in shape and everything.

I see your also attached to a remake of The Last Dragon.

Jackson: You might have seen that somewhere.

Are you doing that?

Jackson: Not yet. People attach your names to a lot of things. Whatever you end up doing, or you might do. Right now we don't have a script.

That could be a good one though. Would you be Sho'nuff?

Jackson: Naw, I'd be Bruce Leroy. Why would I be Sno'nuff? Gonna typecast a nigga? [laughs] Ah, I guess that's what everybody's thinking. I don't know.

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
