Don't mess with a man's family. What would you do if your wife and Child was killed. You would do what Clyde Shelton did take the law it into your own hands when the law fails you. Law Abiding Citizen had some issues getting off the ground .Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium,Remake of Total Recall) wrote the original script, which was re-written by Frank Darabont. , Darabont was set to direct. But he left the project and was replaced by F Gary Gray. Which I think is a great choice. ( Man behind Friday, Set It Off, The Italian Job and many more ) Movie Stars Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx
The plot focuses on a man who, ten years after his wife and daughter are brutally murdered, returns to extract justice from the assistant district attorney who prosecuted the case against their killers. His vengeance threatens not only the man who allowed mercy to supersede justice, but also the system and the city that made it so.
