Funny Man Zach Galifianakis Talks Hangover 2

Funny Man Zach Galifianakis Talks Hangover 2

I am not sure what they can do to this movie to make it any better then it was. Every time you make a sequel, Sure it can turn out better then the first movie. And then there are the sequels that Bomb. Like Caddyshack 2.Why mess with a good thing. But in Hollywood " Money Talks "
Here is a Exclusive interview with Funny Man Zach Galifianakis From IGN.

IGN: There was certainly a lot of buzz about The Hangover before it opened, including talk of a sequel. There was confidence it was a good film and would connect, but was it still astonishing to you to see just how big it is? That it's passed Beverly Hills Cop as the biggest R-rated comedy ever?

Galifianakis: You know what it was… I had dinner with the director, Todd Phillips, the other day and he was driving me back to my place. And I said, "I think it worked because there was some fresh jokes." I don't mean that there was groundbreaking new humor, but we would do some jokes and I'd say, "Todd, I've seen that before." Even with the jockstrap stuff. I'd seen fat guys in tighty-whities before. I said, "Give him a jockstrap." It was that kind of small thing… Not that that was the revolutionary thing. [Laughs] But it was those kind of small, little things… You need to surprise an audience.

They've become so saturated now, comedies. Cursing has become the new wit and it just drives me crazy when I see that. I saw a movie -- I won't say which -- and every character cursed. And that's fine, if you give them a reason to be that way. But they just did it gratuitously.

So this movie, The Hangover, had some cursing in it and all that stuff, but my character did not curse. I asked if he could not curse. I just didn't want to do it. So there's little elements like that that maybe were kind of new to people. Also, nobody knew the cast and that in a weird way helped. I think Todd Phillips knows… the studio left him alone. They gave him one note. They didn't meddle. And that's the reason, I think, that it's a good movie. They admitted they didn't know what they were doing and let Todd edit the way he wanted and shoot the way he wanted. We got very lucky, also. A good movie, a good TV show is coincidental I think. Because there are so many elements that have to fall into place and we worked hard, but there's some luck involved as well. That's a long answer!

IGN: What has Todd said about the sequel? Has he said where he wants to go with it?

Galifianakis: He is writing the script. But I haven't seen the script. I'm not running to do The Hangover 2. I told Todd, the last thing I want is the Police Academy chain all of the sudden, where I'm only known from… You've got to be careful with something like that. The movie's really good, why bother with a sequel? And I'm not saying that I'm not going to do it. I'm just posing these questions. These are things I ask Todd. Obviously, the reason is executives have Bentleys to pay for. I would love, love, love to work with those guys again. The script has to be good! But I'm working with Todd on a movie we'll be shooting in about six weeks. So I'll do that first, and then we'll see how it goes.

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
