Vikings: Season 6 Trailer -Two-Hour Season Premiere Airs Dec. 4

HISTORY’s hit drama series “Vikings” returns for its sixth and final season with a highly anticipated and powerful two-hour premiere kicking off Wednesday, December 4 at 9 PM ET/PT. After years of turmoil and tragedy, the series reaches its biggest climax yet with the Vikings traveling to never-before-seen locations thousands of miles from Kattegat, meeting vicious rivals worthy of their strategic combat and finally facing the consequences of Ragnar’s death. The Seer’s visions come to fruition as the final season answers important life-altering questions while making it clear, the war is far from over.



The 20-episode sixth season will air in two parts, beginning with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, December 4 at 9PM ET/PT followed by eight episodes airing every Wednesday at 9PM ET/PT on HISTORY. The remaining ten episodes of season six are slated to air in 2020. Additionally, series regular Katheryn Winnick is set to helm one episode in season six, marking her directorial debut.

Samuel L. Jackson Playing Nick Fury in New Disney+ Series

Samuel L. Jackson is set to reprise the role of Nick Fury in a new Marvel series currently in development at Disney Plus, Variety has learned exclusively from sources. 
The exact plot details of the show are being kept under wraps, but multiple sources say Jackson is attached to star with Kyle Bradstreet attached to write and executive produce. Like all the other Marvel shows at Disney Plus, Marvel Studios will produce. Jackson famously portrayed Fury, the monocular head of the clandestine government agency S.H.I.E.L.D, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going back to the post-credits scene in the first “Iron Man” film in 2008.
