Frozen 2 Review 'KRISTOFF IS THE STAND OUT OF THE MOVIE'

Jason Momoa Is Coming To Wizard World Sacramento Sept. 21st

Jason Momoa, who rocketed to superstardom in Justice League (2017) and Aquaman (2018), “Charmed” stars Holly Marie Combs and Brian Krause, Richard Grieco (A Night At The Roxbury, "21 Jump Street"), Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie), Sam J. Jones (“Flash Gordon”) and pro wrestling legend The Honky Tonk Man are the first celebrities announced for Wizard World Sacramento, set for September 20-22 at Cal Expo.

Momoa will appear on Saturday, Sept. 21; Combs, Krause, Nicholas and Jones are scheduled to attend all three days; Greico and Honky Tonk will appear on Saturday and Sunday. Other stars will be announced closer to the event.

Momoa had significant roles in the popular series "Baywatch" and "Stargate: Atlantas" before a turn as "Khal Drago" on the acclaimed "Game of Thrones" was followed by his first appearance as "Aquaman" in Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice in 2016. That led to a larger role as the undersea superhero in Justice League and star billing in the hit release that wowed theater audiences over the 2018-19 holiday season.

Momoa's other credits include the title role in both Conan the Barbarian (2011) and Braven (2018) and opposite Bruce Willis and John Goodman in last year's Once Upon a Time in Venice.

The event marks Wizard World’s return to the California state capital, and first at Cal Expo. Wizard World Sacramento was held from 2014-2017 at the Sacramento Convention Center. The event will feature many of the world’s top comics creators, an outstanding array of programming, live entertainment, cosplay contests, gaming and more.

Wizard World events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
