BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

#AmericanAssassin Arrives on Digital November 21 & On 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray Combo Pack On December 5

Based on the best-selling book series by Vince Flynn, Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner franchise, “Teen Wolf”) and Academy Award® nominee Michael Keaton (Best Actor, Birdman, 2014) lead a star-studded ensemble in American Assassin, arriving on Digital November 21 and on 4K Ultra HD™ (plus Blu-ray and Digital), Blu-ray™ Combo Pack (plus Digital) and DVD December 5 from Lionsgate. The “totally action-packed” (Topher Gauk-Roger, CNN) feature also stars Sanaa Lathan (Now You See Me 2, “The Cleveland Show”), Shiva Negar (“24 Hour Rental,” “Art of War”) Scott Adkins (Doctor Strange, The Expendables 2), and Taylor Kitsch (Lone Survivor, “Friday Night Lights”).

Based on the fictional character Mitch Rapp (O’Brien), featured in 16 New York Times bestsellers with over 20 million copies sold to date, the explosive thriller introduces the popular series to the big screen as a young Rapp takes on his first assignment and begins his career as a CIA officer.

American Assassin follows the rise of Mitch Rapp (Dylan O’Brien), a CIA black-ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). The pair is then enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks on both military and civilian targets. Together, the three discover a pattern in the violence, leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop a mysterious operative (Taylor Kitsch) intent on settling a personal and professional vendetta that could have cataclysmic results.

Directed by Michael Cuesta (Kill the Messenger, “Homeland”) and written for the screen by Stephen Schiff, Michael Finch, Edward Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, the American Assassin 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital releases feature exclusive bonus content, including five all-new, never-before-seen featurettes and a cast Q&A. The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions feature Dolby Atmos audio mixed specifically for the home to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray also features Dolby Vision high dynamic range (HDR), growing Lionsgate’s library of titles featuring both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Dolby Vision transforms the TV experience in the home by delivering greater brightness and contrast, as well as a fuller palette of rich colors. Together with the captivating sound of Dolby Atmos, consumers will experience both cutting-edge imaging and state-of-the-art sound technology for a fully immersive entertainment experience.

The 4K Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $42.99, $39.99 and $29.95, respectively.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
