Sylvester Stallone Confirms Expendables 4 Is Happening

With the news of a developing TV series, it looked as if The Expendables' cinema career may have ended at part three. Not so, according to Sylvester Stallone, who over the weekend confirmed December's rumors that Expendables 4 was underway.

Stallone told his Facebook followers that he's about to start working out for "the next Expendables, [which is] gonna be great, fingers crossed! We're gonna do our best and I think we've got some really great attitude going, some great ideas. I think everyone's expecting something different and we're gonna give it to 'em."

The last we officially heard about the film was in October, 2015, when studio Nu Image announced that a fourth instalment had been made possible by Chinese funding. Almost half of Expendables 3's total worldwide box office haul of $200m came from China, with a relatively meagre $40m from the States.

"What seems to work in their favour in China, is that these movies are good old-fashioned shoot ’em up entertainment," said executive producer Steven Paul back then.

Whether that's still the deal remains to be revealed, as does the specific cast and the director. Stallone directed the first Expendables himself, with Simon West coming in for Expendables 2 and Patrick Hughes on Expendables 3. The regular Expendables team in front of the cameras, meanwhile, has been Stallone, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture and Jet Li – plus Arnold Schwarzenegger and (for the first two) Bruce Willis, Wesley Snipes and Antonio Banderas last time, and some younger whippersnappers including Ronda Rousey.

We can probably safely assume that Stallone will be leading the screenwriting team, however. And if Stallone is getting into Expendables shape as of now, we can probably expect shooting (in both senses) before too long. More updates will undoubtedly follow in the near future.

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
