BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Next Spidey Film Titled "Spider-Man: Homecoming"

It's now been officially confirmed that Spider-Man: Homecoming is the title of the next Spidey outing, due in summer 2017. Tom Rothman, chairman of Sony Pictures, announced the title at the CinemaCon event in Las Vegas.

The title, said Rothman, reflected the youthful age of its high-school star, but also referring to the fact that "Peter [Parker] is trying to find his way home." It may also reference the 1980s comic-book run of the same name, which featured Captain America and Iron Man.

Bit by bit, the new Spidey is revealing himself. After Tom Holland’s entrée into the major league smackdown that is Captain America: Civil War in the last trailer.

Spider-Man Homecoming, if that is the name Sony and Marvel has plumped for, will be Holland's solo debut as the new Peter Parker and latest member of Team Stark. Supposition and speculation maybe, but there’s plenty of precedent for film titles to be domain-named long in advance of an official title announcement. It’s how Skyfall’s title was revealed, after all. Then again, eight domains were registered for the latest Warner Bros./DC Superman, none of which involved the words "dawn" or "justice".

Homecoming' references Marvel's 1980s comic-book run that features cameos from Captain America and Iron Man. Hopes of a cameo, except potentially in flashback, from either Chris Evans or Robert Downey Jr. may be misplaced. Expect Civil War to be the pair’s last MCU appearance until Avengers: Infinity War - Part I. There’ll be a fair amount of recuperation needed, we suspect.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
