Lionsgate’s Codeblack Films launched the debut trailer of its latest film, THE PERFECT MATCH, a romantic comedy executive produced by Queen Latifah and starring Terrence J. (“Think Like a Man”), Cassie Ventura (“Step Up 2: The Streets), Paula Patton (“Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”), Donald Faison (“Clueless”), Lauren London (“Baggage Claim”), Dascha Polanco (“Joy”), Joe Pantoliano (“Matrix”), French Montana (“Keeping Up with the Kardashians”), and Brandy Norwood (“The Game”). Lionsgate will release THE PERFECT MATCH nationwide on March 11th.



In THE PERFECT MATCH, Charlie (Terrence J.) is a playboy who's convinced that relationships are dead even though his sister (Paula Patton), a therapist, tries to tell him otherwise. His best friends bet him that if he sticks to one woman for one month, he's bound to fall in love. Charlie takes the bet because he believes that he’s immune to love… until he crosses paths with the beautiful and mysterious Eva (Cassie Ventura). Turning on his irresistible charm, Charlie coaxes Eva into a casual affair but soon finds out that Eva has turned the tables on him. Now Charlie is questioning whether he may actually want more than just a one night stand.

A Lionsgate/Codeblack Films in association with Jorva Entertainment Productions and Flavor Unit Entertainment, THE PERFECT MATCH is directed by Bille Woodruff (“Honey,” “Beauty Shop”), and written by Brandon Broussard and Gary Hardwick, based on a screenplay by Dana Verde. Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children.
