PHOENIX FILM FESTIVAL INTRODUCES THE SUMMER SHOWCASE FROM AUGUST 10th – 13th

Phoenix Film Festival is making 2015 a landmark year with the inaugural of the Phoenix Film Festival Summer Showcase taking place from August 10th to the 13th, at the Harkins Scottsdale 101, with each showing starting at 7 pm. The Phoenix Film Festival Summer Showcase will feature screenings of four films before they’re released in theaters. Each night a different film will be screened and following the screenings there will be a hosted discussion about the film. This will give audiences an opportunity to preview some of the best summer studio films.

The following titles will be showing on the following dates:

Monday, August 10th – MISTRESS AMERICA starring Greta Gerwig and Lola Kirke
Tuesday, August 11th – TIME OUT OF MIND starring Richard Gere and Jena Malone
Wednesday, August 12th- COP CAR starring Kevin Bacon and James Freedson-Jackson
Thursday, August 13th- A WALK IN THE WOODS starring Robert Redford and Nick Nolte

“We are very excited to bring a Phoenix Film Festival event to the summer for the first time,” quotes Jason Carney, director of the Phoenix Film Festival. “We’ve managed to program a wide variety of films to give audiences a fun week to look forward to.”

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will.
