BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Joker May Be In Batman v. Superman and Batman May Be In Suicide Squad

DC might be cross-pollinating their characters.

By Brandon Wolfe

Latino Review has posted a couple of juicy rumors concerning the burgeoning DC Cinematic Universe. We received our first look the other day at the new Insane Clown Posse Prince of Crime incarnation of the Joker as he will appear in David Ayer's Suicide Squad, which had been expected to be the character’s debut film. Now, it’s rumored, we might meet the character a bit sooner, in Batman v. Superman.

Rumblings have it that Jared Leto is filming a secret flashback sequence for next March’s superhero mash-up where we will see a depiction of the Joker torturing and killing Jason Todd’s Robin, as occurred in the 1988 comic “A Death in the Family.” Latino Review also reports that Todd’s Robin costume will be displayed in a glass casket in Wayne Manor during the film, and will possibly act as the trigger for the flashback.

On top of that, the website also claims to have been told that Bruce Wayne/Batman will be making an appearance in Suicide Squad, as will the Batmobile. Warner Bros. is clearly trying to retroactively achieve much of the world-building that Marvel has crafted so intricately. Except Marvel put in several years and films’ worth of work into establishing their universe. We’ll see how the quick-and-dirty method works for DC.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
