BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Justin Theroux Talks Zoolander 2

The sequel to 2001’s Zoolander has been drifting along on the edge of happening for years now. Script re-writes, scheduling issues and more have delayed any real progress, but according to actor Justin Theroux – who has been attached to direct since 2010 – it might finally be coming together.

Of course, we’ve been down this road before: star and co-writer/director of the first film Ben Stiller told us himself in 2011 that it was “close”. According to Theroux, who played the evil DJ in the original film, it’s still all being worked out.

“We’ve got a script for the sequel, and we’ve just been in talks again,” he tells Vulture. “We’re trying to sharpen it and hone it and, actually, I don’t want to jinx anything, but it looks like it actually might be starting to get up and running.” Ah, you just jinxed it, Justin. You know you did.

When and if it does finally start the cameras rolling, it might not be Theroux actually calling the shots, as he will likely be busy working on HBO series The Leftovers.

“I don’t think I’m going to do it anymore. It really depends on whether the show gets picked up. If it gets picked up, then I don’t think I’ll have the time to do it. So it’ll probably get handed to Ben, which would be awesome.”

The sequel’s plot, still apparently set 10 years after the events of the original, finds Stiller’s Zoolander and Owen Wilson’s Hansel rejected by the fashion industry after they age out of the sweet spot for male models, leaving them struggling to once again make their names. Let’s hope the film doesn’t suffer a similar fate.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
