BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Did Magneto Have A Hand In Assassinating JFK?

As we’ve seen from other promos, X-Men: Days Of Future Past focuses on how the mutant population intersects with our history, and how that builds the fear, paranoia and rage that eventually sparks a conflict between homo sapiens and homo superior. Another fragment has come online, which posits that Erik Lehnsherr, AKA Magneto, had a hand in assassinating JFK. Take a look at the video below and check out the full site here.

1963, we’re told, was known by mutants as the “Summer of Hate”, in which several of them were assaulted or killed. But did that really lead Lehnsherr to plot against John F. Kennedy? As with almost everything to do with the case, it’s all wrapped in conspiracy theory, but the site is a really intriguing blend of the X-movies’ history and the real-life event. We wondered why it wasn’t launched before the 50th anniversary last Friday, but then there’s a matter of taste when it comes to that tragedy.

X-Men Days Of Future Past finds the mutants of a dark alternate future fighting to stay alive against the onslaught of the dreaded Sentinels. They hatch a desperate plan to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time via his own younger body to convince a disillusioned Xavier (James McAvoy) to stop the rise of mutant hate in general and scientist Bolivar Trask in particular, in the hopes that that will change the timeline.

With a sprawling cast that includes Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult Jackman, Ellen Page, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry and Anna Paquin, X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
