BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Come Help John Herzfeld’s "REACH ME" Reach It's Kickstarter Goal

Writer/Director John Herzfeld’s Passion Project Has Three Weeks Remaining to Reach Kickstarter Campaign Goal.

Writer/Director John Herzfeld’s passion project is coming to fruition. REACH ME, an uplifting drama with Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone and an accomplished ensemble cast including Kyra Sedgwick (TNT’s The Closer), Tom Berenger (Inception, Training Day), Terry Crews (The Expendables), Kelsey Grammer (Starz’ BOSS), and rap superstar Nelly, was hit with a major roadblock during filming last winter when an investor backed out during the second week of shooting. Defying the option to shut down production, producers poured their remaining financial resources into the project, believing this was a film the public deserved to see. While their efforts allowed the film to finish shooting, the film still requires a helping hand from the audience to complete.

The Kickstarter campaign for the film ends on September 19. For more information, check out the campaign page for clips, photos, rewards and news (http://www.kickstarter.com/ projects/reachme/reach-me-the- movie-kickstarter), and Twitter (https://twitter.com/ ReachMeMovie) for additional updates.

Along with John Herzfeld (15 Minutes, 2 Days In The Valley), producers Rebekah Chaney and Cassian Elwes (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) recently launched a Kickstarter campaign on August 20th to encourage the audience to join in completing the film. With the support of the cast providing enticing incentives, including on-set visits, wardrobe from the film, signed copies of their headshots, and one-on-one time being coached by a former MMA World Champion, moviegoers can now become a part of the crucial process and connect with inspiring filmmakers. Until the deadline on September 19th, backers are able to donate what they can to help the cause, and complete the film as the filmmakers intended.

“This film is a complete labor of love for us,” says Herzfeld.

REACH ME tells the story of a dozen strangers with seemingly nothing in common. Their lives begin to inadvertently cross paths as a result of a thin, self-published paperback motivational book by an anonymous author (Tom Berenger), who is currently in hiding. Eventually all the characters’ lives intersect, by coming into contact with the book or with someone who knows about the book, and each one soon learns that their lives will never be the same.

Written, Produced and Directed by John Herzfeld, and produced by Rebekah Chaney and Cassian Elwes, the film stars Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Lauren Cohan (AMC’s The Walking Dead), Ryan Kwanten (HBO’s True Blood), Terry Crews, Cary Elwes (Saw, The Princess Bride), Kelsey Grammer, Thomas Jane (The Punisher), Tom Berenger, Kevin Connolly (HBO’s Entourage), Tom Sizemore (Black Hawk Down), David O’Hara (The Departed), Omari Hardwick (The A-Team), Elizabeth Henstridge (ABC’s upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Danny Aiello (Do The Right Thing), and rap star Nelly.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
