Steven Spielberg's Classic Films Return To The Big Screen

Cinemark’s Classic Series to Feature Four Steven Spielberg Films RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK on June 12, 2013
Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), one of the world’s largest motion picture exhibitors, is pleased to announce the next film in our Classic Series will feature director Steven Spielberg’s RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK on June 12 . Other future films to play in this current series line-up will be E. T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL on June 16 and 19, and SCHINDLER’S LIST on June 23 and 26. Performances will be on Sundays at 2pm, and Wednesdays at two separate show times, 2 pm and 7pm.

RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, ranked 66 on the American Film Institute’s list of 100 Greatest American Films, was a collaborative effort between Spielberg and George Lucas. The 1981 classic eventually spawned three sequels: INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984), INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989), and INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL (2008).

A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack.
