RED LEATHER JACKET FROM NEW MOVIE THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES ON DISPLAY AT ARCLIGHT CINEMAS IN HOLLYWOOD AND UP FOR AUCTION ONLINE.

Proceeds to benefit Variety – The Children’s Charity of Southern California.

One of this spring’s most highly anticipated movie releases, The Place Beyond the Pines, starring Academy Award nominees Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper, and Eva Mendes, will have an original object from the production auctioned off online to benefit Variety – The Children’s Charity of Southern California. The auction item is a red leather motorcycle jacket, as seen on Mr. Gosling in the film as part of his portrayal of high-wire motorcycle stunt performer Luke.

The auction will be hosted by Profiles in History at www.profilesinhistory.com, starting Friday, March 29th, which is also the day that Focus Features releases the Derek Cianfrance-directed movie in exclusive engagements in New York City, at Landmark Theatres’ Sunshine Cinema and AMC Theatres’ Lincoln Square, and Los Angeles, at Landmark Theatres’ The Landmark and the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. The ArcLight Cinemas is currently displaying the actual jacket on-site, until Friday, April 5th. The auction will end Monday, April 8th. Proceeds from the auction will go to help inspire hope, enrich lives and build a better future for children with special needs in Southern California.

The jacket (pictured above on Mr. Gosling in-character in a scene from the film) is a Firstgear red leather motorcycle jacket with snap pockets at the front, black corduroy at the collar, zipper vents at both front and back with black leather in the vent, elastic at both cuffs and bottom, and zips to close. The lining from the auction item has been removed because of wear from extensive location filming of sequences in which Luke rides on his motorcycle.

Following its initial exclusive engagements, Focus will release The Place Beyond the Pines in select cities on Friday, April 5th; and will expand the release to theaters across the country on Friday, April 12th. MPAA-rated “R,” The Place Beyond the Pines is the daring new movie from the director of Blue Valentine, a sweeping emotional drama powerfully exploring the unbreakable bond between fathers and sons. Also starring Rose Byrne, Mahershala Ali, Dane DeHaan, Emory Cohen, Ben Mendelsohn, and Ray Liotta, the Focus Features and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment presentation of an Electric City Entertainment production in association with Verisimilitude is scripted by Mr. Cianfrance, Ben Coccio, and Darius Marder, from a story by Mr. Cianfrance and Mr. Coccio.

The movie was awesome from the acting perspective it was very good, Ryan Gosling had done the best in this movie, and Bradly Cooper has done some great work as he always try to give the best, but above all the red leather jacket of Ryan Gosling was the best.

Movie Review: #Vacation

Vacation makes me want to take a STAY-cation. Review by Matt Cummings It's not too often that a movie makes me wish film never existed, yet her I am ready to give the newest Vacation all the hate it deserves. And hate on it I will. Grown-up Rusty (Ed Helms) is stuck in a dull marriage to Debbie (Christina Applegate), who's been forced year after year to spend vacation with her family at a cabin in Michigan. When the overly optimistic Rusty realizes his family needs a change, he packs them up for a trip to Walley World, the site of his greatest trip as a teen. But soon, his family begins to encounter difficulties and flat-out disasters that could end their road trip and return Rusty's marriage back to square one. It might surprise our readers to know that someone from our team actually considered walking out of Vacation , and we get to see these films for free. That's how bad our experience became as we sat mesmerized by its 99 minutes of ineptit...

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
