Michael Keaton Joins RoboCop

Michael Keaton is joining RoboCop, the MGM and Columbia Pictures reboot directed by Jose Padilha. He'll play the role Hugh Laurie was negotiating to take, until he dropped out late last week.

Keaton joins Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson in the film.

“Michael is the final addition to the amazing cast we have assembled for this film, and it is so great to have the last puzzle piece in place," Padilha said in a statement. "It is thrilling that everything has come together to bring this innovative new vision of RoboCop to life. We’ve got a great script, a great cast, some killer ED-209s, and I can’t wait to get Alex Murphy back on the streets."

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device.
