BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Joe Carnahan Confirms Death Wish Rumors & Writing Role For Frank Grillo

Joe Carnahan has confirmed via twitter that he will be writing and directing a Death Wish remake. And for the first time he is writing the film exclusively for an actor who is non other then Frank Grillo. Who is one of the stars of THE GREY.

Here is what Joe had to say:

Guys. I'm doing 'Death Wish.' But this version is a re-imagining of the book and set in present day Los Angeles. The L.A. of 'Collateral.

The only role I'm writing in 'Death Wish' which will mark the ONE time I've ever written exclusively for an actor, will be for @FrankGrillo
There is little information on what direction the film will take. But Frank did an amazing job in THE GREY and was a stand out in the film WARRIOR. So I can only expect great things from the news.

Based on Brian Garfield's novel of the same name, the original Death Wish was released in 1974, and was directed by Michael Winner. Although it was panned by critics for advocating vigilantism, the film went on to be a huge commercial success, spawning four sequels and making Charles Bronson a star. While in 2007 director James Wan mounted a loose adaptation of Death Sentence, Garfield’s follow-up to his original novel, other efforts to update the story were unsuccessful. Sylvester Stallone also attempted to launch a remake several years ago but the project stalled during development.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
