BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Russell Crowe Joins Les Miserables

Anyone who's heard 30 Odd Foot Of Grunt - and there are a few of you out there - will know that Russell Crowe is a man who takes his music seriously. Robin Hood may have been lighter than hoped on the campfire hey-nonny-nonnying, but the actor is getting the chance to add his five-foot-and-11-inches of vocal grunt to Tom Hooper's big screen version of Les Miserables.

Crowe will be exercising those vocal chords as Inspector Javert. He's le bad guy, the heartless gendarme who relentlessly pursues Hugh Jackman's poverty-stricken Jean Valjean when the latter is paroled from prison after serving 20 years for stealing bread to feed his starving family. Javert is convinced that you're once a thief, always a thief, and so when Valjean disappears and tries to rebuild his life, Javert is determined to track him down. After Robin Hood, it looks like a classic case of 'poacher turned bastard'.

Crowe joins a cast that already boosts Jackman and may soon have Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Geoffrey Rush scaling its proverbial rampants. Hathaway, another with a larynx to soothe the angels, is reportedly in talks to play Fantine, a struggling Parisian who sells her body to look after her child.

Les Miserables is scheduled for release on December 7, 2012.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
