BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Bridesmaids Movie Review By: SandwichJohn

Bridesmaids Movie Review
By: SandwichJohn

Gotta start with this first, the title is misleading. When most guys read the title they think chick flick. Fellas you are truly mistaken. This movie is indeed made for men and women to enjoy and laugh their ass off. So if you want to earn some points with the lady then offer to take her to see the movie, and I all most guarantee you'll like it more then her.

Bridesmaids was produced by Judd Apatow (40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up) and should be the first reason you go see it. The second are break out stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy (Samantha Who?,Mike & Molly) and Chris O'Dowd this for sure was his break out role. You may not know his name now but after this film you surely will.

Kristen Wiig plays Annie, best friend for life with Maya Rudolph (Lillian). Lillian decides to get married and of course her best friend is asked to be her maid of honor. This is where the trouble begins. Annie is introduced to the rest of the bridesmaids. Wendi McLendon-Covey (Rita), Melissa McCarthy (Megan), Ellie Kemper (Becca) and Rose Byrne (Helen). And this is where all hell breaks loose.

Annie and Helen start off on the wrong foot. We get to see the rivalry at the engagement party when they try to out do each other on their toast speech. Keep an ear out for Lillian's father he has some great one liners through out the film.

There are some memorable scenes in the movie. Ones that everyone will be talking about after they get out of the movie. When the ladies go to try on bridesmaid dresses (I will say nothing more about this scene) and the airplane moment. McCarthy is the show stealer in both acts.

There is a super sweet State Trooper Nathan (Chris Dowd) that Annie keeps bumping into and has an immediate connection with. To quote someone in the theater "He is so cute, I would date him." Nathan and Annie have a moment and roles are reversed. The love story between the two is very sweet and some people in the audience will understand what the two of them are going through.

In the film each actress in the film is given an opportunity to create huge laughs from their own characterizations.

And like any films it ends with some huge laughs and ends with Huge surprise guest singers at the wedding that made everyone in the audience start singing.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
