BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Anthony Bourdain "Get Jiro" Comic Book

Anthony Bourdain To Cook Us "Get Jiro" Comic Book

Star of the Travel Channel show "No Reservations," Anthony Bourdain broke out some hard-hitting writing when he released his memoir "Kitchen Confidential" — but he's decided to try his hand at creating a graphic novel as well. Bourdain let his project slip in an interview earlier this year, but it's official now, and it won't be about gyros.

He'll be aided by novelist Joel Rose of "Kill Kill Faster Faster" and artist Langdon Foss, whose work has appeared in "Heavy Metal." Together, they're synthesizing a "futuristic action thriller" called "Get Jiro!" which was just announced at New York Comic Con.

The genre choice may surprise Bourdain's followers, but it's said to be focusing on American obsessions with exotic cuisine in manic, violent and extreme ways. Such subject matter is well within the realm of topics Bourdain has addressed before in his career, though. The title character is a sushi chef who earns the respect and pursuit of some established master chefs.

The triumvirate creative team should bring an interesting combination of perspectives to the graphic novel, maybe even a recipe or two; who knows? If they succeed, they may crack open a whole new genre in food-based futuristic action/thriller comics. After all, it's about time that someone did, right?

We don't have a release date for the project yet, but you can bet it's going to take its food very, very seriously.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
