Blood Oath Book Review

Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth is not just another vampire book. For those of you who are tired of the Twilight mania (even those of you that are not) and like a good vampire story this is the book for you. The premise of the book is that the great protector of the President and the United States is a vampire that was pardoned by Andrew Johnson in 1867. After his pardon he is forced to take a blood oath binding him to the President of the United States and to protect the nation against all threats. In the beginning of the book we also meet Zach Barrows, the young ambitious deputy director for White House affairs, who has been assigned by the President to be the new human liason for Nathaniel Cade, the president's vampire. Zach's first response to meeting Cade is to wet his pants. This is the kind of reaction that I think most people would have is in fact they were to meet a vampire which is one of the things I love about this book. Although it is about an unbelievable topic the responses of the characters in the book are believable.

Farnsworth has said that the idea for the book came from the true story of Andrew Johnson's pardon of a man accused of being a vampire which can be found in the book The President's Vampire by Robert Schneck which looks into the story first introduced in the book Wild Talents by Charles Hoy Fort. The story is that Andrew Johnson pardoned the man who was convicted of killing two men and drinking their blood and that he spent the rest of his days in an insane asylum. But as Farnsworth has said in interviews what possible reason could Andrew Johnson have for giving this man a pardon and wouldn't vampire be a pretty great tool for the President of the United States to have. Wouldn't you agree?

If you think that a vampire is the worst of the supernatural beings that could threaten the United States then think again. This book will introduce you to some truly disturbing and extremely scary characters much worse than werewolves or Frankenstein's monster, although both are in the book. This book will be the first in a series of books revolving around the adventures of Nathaniel Cade. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Blood Oath is a refreshing take on vampire fiction with strong storytelling and realistic character reactions. It even highlights how Book Writing Services Qatar can help shape such engaging, well-structured narratives that keep readers hooked from start to finish.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
