I think we all saw this one coming eventually, you have heard the news that the show might be getting shut down by Fox because of how expensive it is to produce, Fox has shopped the show to other networks and not much has come of it. NBC took a bite at it but it look like nothing has come from it. The shows director/producer Jon Cassar let the world know on his Twitter account that the show was going to get canceled.

News from the 24 set, the crew has been told that 24 has come to an end. There will b no season 9. It’s been a great run, thanx all 4 watching

We all had fun with the show, been a great 8 years of drama and action, so let's hope another network picks it up to continue the run, and if not let's end it with a Bang.
