Jay-Z and Beyonce Top Couple Earners Of 2009

Jay-Z and Beyonce Top Couple Earners Of 2009

Newlyweds Jay-Z and Beyonce earned $122 million together between June 2008 and June 2009, more than any other couple -- married or unmarried -- in entertainment.

The listmakers at Forbes are at it again, this time determining Hollywood's top-earning couple.

Beyonce and Jay-Z beat out the competition not only by churning out hit songs but also by attaching their names to Budweiser, American Express and a host of other brands. In this relationship, the wife out-earned the husband, $87 million-$35 million.

In a distant second place, with a combined $69 million, was Harrison Ford and girlfriend Calista Flockhart, most of that coming courtesy of Ford's $65 million paycheck for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Partners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are third with a combined $55 million, thanks to "Wanted," starring Jolie, and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," starring Pitt.

Rounding out the top five are married couples Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith ($48 million) and David and Victoria Beckham ($46 million).

Soon-to-be "American Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi of the ABC show "Better Off Ted" are next with $36 million. They're followed by Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson at $35.5 million.

Other couples on the top 15 list at Forbes.com include Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert?

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. Estavillo says that the slow pace is "deceitful" because more time = more subscription revenue for Activision. Here's where Winona Ryder comes...
