I could totally see myself and buddies loving to find one of these time machines.

What fun we could have.

What were u doing in 1986? Before Twitter and Facebook.

We admit the raunchy time-travel comedy Hot Tub Time Machine sounded like all kinds of bad when we first heard about it, but the new trailer, below, makes it seem at least funny in parts, which is progress.

Things we like: the Back to the Future Hot Tub interface, John Cusack riffing on his '80s Lloyd Dobler persona, the texting/online jokes, and besides, who doesn't like making fun of the '80s?

Things we don't like: Rob Corddry. After his disgusting FBI agent in Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, we think he seriously needs to dial it back if he doesn't want to become the most annoying actor in the history of movies.

But we digress. Here's the official description of Hot Tub Time Machine:

A group of best friends have become bored with their adult lives: Adam has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou is a party guy who can't find the party; Nick's wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob won't leave his basement. After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack. The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device.
