Funny man Justin Long is shaking things up a little bit and going in the direction of drama. This film will offer him a chance to show some versatility and that he is more then a comedic actor.

I loved him in the movie Dodge ball, Live Free or Die Hard, He's Just Not That Into You and Zak and Miri Make A Porn As the gay lover to Brandon Routh . See clip below.

Justin Long is joining James McAvoy and Robin Wright Penn in "The Conspirator," the historical drama that Robert Redford is directing.

"Conspirator" tells the story of Confederate sympathizer Mary Surratt (Wright Penn), who was tried as a conspirator in the Lincoln assassination, and Col. Frederick Aiken (McAvoy), who reluctantly agreed to defend her before a military tribunal.

Long plays a soldier who lost a limb in the Civil War and is McAvoy's best friend and conscience.

Winona Ryder- An "Alienation" Expert? We're halfway checked out for the holiday weekend, so let's end with bit of comedy. A litigious videogame player is calling Winona Ryder to testify as an expert in "alienation." Erik Estavillo has filed a $1 million lawsuit in California Superior Court against Activision Blizzard, publisher of "World of Warcraft," saying it "maintain(s) a harmful virtual environment to many of its customers by forcing them to follow the game's sneaky and deceitful practices." The plaintiff says he suffers from several mental health problems brought on by WoW's "alienating" features, such as forcing beginners to walk or run to get from one point to another instead of speedier options available to those who master the game or buy an expansion pack.
