BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

New Kids Book-Where Did Mommy’s Superpowers Go?

The nice thing about running your own website and not having Hollywood big dogs controlling you like some of the film websites out there is you can help your friends out with projects they are working on.

My good friend Randy is a not only the president of The world's largest Arnold Schwarzenegger Fan site in the world, (TheArnoldFans) he is also a great illustrator and digital artist. Visit his site if you need any work done. He has over 25 books published and he designed the header for my site and the guy who helped me come up with the website name.  A story for another time.

Randy has a new children's book out. Where Did Mommy’s Superpowers Go? is a heartwarming story for all parents struggling to balance a serious health crisis while caring for small children.

Mommy and her son love to play together and act like superheroes! But one day, Mommy has something serious to discuss. She explains to her little boy that the doctor has found some "yucky stuff" in her body, and that she’ll need very strong medicine to get rid of it. Unfortunately, Mommy will need to go away for a while, and the strong medicine will take her “superpowers” away. She will look different, and not be able to do a lot of the fun things she normally does. What will her son do while Mommy is away? How will the medicine change her? When and how will Mommy get her superpowers back?

Where Did Mommy’s Superpowers Go? is a heartwarming story for all parents struggling to balance a serious health crisis while caring for small children. Told from the child’s point of view, the story shows that what adults tell children about a family member’s critical illness may not be nearly as important as how adults share this information. What makes this book special and sets it apart from others is that no particular disease or treatment is specified, so it can be a useful resource for all families facing this challenge.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
