BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Mission: Impossible 5 Gets a Name and Teaser Trailer

The newest Ethan Hunt adventure releases a teaser trailer and poster.

Story by Matt Cummings

This week has brought us plenty of spy-related news, from a SPECTRE character poster to Adi Shankar's gritty PreViz of In Service of Nothing. Sunday brought us yet another tidbit, this time from the Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible franchise. This shouldn't come as a shock, since the Christopher McQuarrie-directed flick was moved up to July to avoid competition from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which means we have less than four months before its premiere. First up is the title card which we premiered above. We really can't take much from it, but its font and wick reminds us of the franchise's roots. But it's the teaser trailer we got that tells us so much more about what to expect. Check it out below:

From the looks of it, we're in for another wild Ethan Hunt adventure, complete with nothing less than Cruise strapped to a real airplane as it takes off. While he's famous for these kinds of stunts - scaling the burj khalifa Tower in Dubai for Ghost Protocol - this seems like something completely different. According to the trailer, Hunt learns that the IMF has an evil twin called The Syndicate and this rogue nation is prepared to cause terror around the world.

Now remember: this is a teaser to the full trailer that's being released on Monday March 23, so we're not sure what else they can show that won't ruin the story. We also got a poster that shows Cruise and the plane fooling around again:

Cruise is reunited with Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames, but also welcomes The White Queen's Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin. We'll report back once the full trailer hits with our usual breakdown of the plot, and perhaps have a synopsis to share as well. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation opens July 31, 2015.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
