BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Inside the Bucket Podcast #11

Episode #10 of Inside the Bucket is online! Revel in the digital majesty by clicking below.

As the boys celebrate Free Comic Book Day, they realize that doing a podcast with socially inept fans isn't all it's cracked up to be!  Let's just say that they almost had to use water to douse the crowd that gathered around their table..well, not really.

In today's show, John and Matt are joined by a who's who of SJF contributors including Zak Souza and Brandon Wolfe.  They talk about the importance of Free Comic Book Day, berate stars in their News segment, and pontificate whether Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will actually survive into Season 2.  Finally, they break down The Amazing Spider-man 2, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, and Dane DeHaan.

Please check out our website for full details on all the stories they covered.

We are so appreciative to A-1 Comics for their willingness to let us record during the madness that was Free Comic Book Day.  Help support your local comic book store with money, food, and even free drinks.  They probably won't mind.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support, and we'll see you at one of our screenings.

Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
