BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE Featurette

Ralph Breaks The Internet Stays On Top Of The Box Office

With the mid-week releases and festivities of the Thanksgiving weekend now in the past, this early December period proved to be a sleepy one for the American box office. Which meant that the top few movies are almost unchanged, with Ralph Breaks The Internet staying top, adding $25.7 million.

In total across the pond, the film now has more than $119 million, with over $206 million in its worldwide coffers. At the rate it's going, it'll outpace the original Ralph before too long.

The one main change in the top five was The Grinch and Creed II swapping places, as the latest animated on the season favorite jumped into second place, earning $17.7 million. Creed II wasn't far behind, though, with $16.8 million in third. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald stayed fourth on $11.2 million, while Bohemian Rhapsody maintained position in fifth, taking home $8.1 million.

Instant Family stayed sixth, with the comedy making $7.1 million. That put it ahead of the week's sole wide new release, with horror thriller The Possession Of Hannah Grace slipping quietly into the charts at seventh and earning $6.5 million. The relatively low budget (less than $10 million, at least before marketing costs), means it has a shot at seeing some profit.

Robin Hood fell one place to eighth on $4.7 million, while Widows was also down one, landing ninth and making $4.4 million. Oscar potential Green Book fell to 10th, wrapping up the top 10 with $3.9 million.

Sex Tape Review: Overly Sexual, Rude, Vulgar, and Absolutely Hilarious

The raunchy Sex Tape will divide audiences and critics, but who cares? Sex Tape suggests a growing practice among loving partners: that of making a raunchy testament of their escapades for posterity. But what happens when that evidence gets seen by friends, neighbors, and even the mailman? This is the plot that pits Jay (Jason Segel) and Annie (Cameron Diaz) in an effort to secure every iPad gift Jay has given, his record company playlists being the envy of the recipients, but which has also inadvertently spread the video to every device. The reason for the act - termed in the movie as pulling "the full Lincoln " for its three-hour length - stems from the couple's non-existent social life, brought on by the constant demands of their children. The couple has a lot to lose: a burgeoning business relationship between Annie and Hank (Rob Lowe) could end if the iPad she's given to Hank exposes the video, and so the couple sets out to reclaim and wipe the incrim...
