Circle K Brings a FREE Summer Snow Day to Phoenix #MakeYourMix

Circle K Stores Inc. (Circle K), the nationwide convenience store chain, offering a wide variety of products for people on the go, is inviting customers to beat the heat at an experiential and family fun activation in Phoenix. The free event is part of the “#MakeYourMix” campaign – a experiential, social and digital program that brings its popular Froster and Polar Pop offerings to life. Starting today and this summer, Circle K is encouraging customers to be a part of the movement by visiting their neighborhood Circle K to cool down with endless possibilities and fun.

WHAT:

A chance for customers to “Stay Cold Longer” at Circle K’s first ever Polar Pop Up in Arizona, a free and family-fun event celebrating its signature drinks complete with:

· Real snow and snow slide!

· Live ice sculpture demonstration

· Ice luge drink samples with your favorite mix of Polar Pop

· Gift cards to use for mixing up a fabulously flavored Froster treat

· Games and product giveaways


“Whatever’s in the mix for your summer, Circle K has the flavors to fill your day with a little more fun. Each store has a variety of offerings, like our Polar Pop and Froster, with endless flavor combinations to help you keep cool,” said Alicia Mowder, Senior Director of Global Marketing, Circle K Stores. “With summer temperatures already hitting triple digits, Arizonans are in for a treat as we bring the cool blast of our icy drink favorites to life.”

Throughout the summer, fans can also track #MakeYourMix on social media for tips on how to create must-have summertime survival kits at Circle K stores curated by top travel and parenting influencers. For added inspiration, Circle K will surprise and delight 100 lucky winners on social media who share their own mix of Circle K beverages and products to beat the heat this summer on Facebook or Instagram. To be a part of the #MakeYourMix contest, customers will need to follow or like @CircleKStores, upload a photo of themselves with their favorite Circle K product mix on Facebook or Instagram, and tag @CircleKStores and #MakeYourMix. Naked Gun Reboot On It's Way

If you've seen Naked Gun - or The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad ! to give its full title - you'll know that it's a comedic masterpiece that springboards off astonishing levels of silliness and random spoofery. Leslie Nielsen's Frank Drebin is a loveable buffoon for the ages, even when he's discussing his dicky prostrate. Do not, however, expect the Ed Helms -starring reboot to adopt exactly the same tack. According to Naked Gun director/co-writer David Zucker, talking up Airplane!'s screening at Nashville's Wild West Comedy Festival, the new version will not attempt to hit the same spoofy sweet spot as the Zuckers and Jim Abrahams' 1988 comedy. "It won’t be like the Naked Gun that I did," Zucker revealed. "It may be good, but it won’t be that kind of movie. They’re going to use the title. They asked me if I wanted to produce. They’re nice people, but they don’t want to do that style of spoof that I do." One departure
